Weaning

I know it is not the same for everyone, but for me, weaning my babies has always been something fairly emotional to me.

Tonight, it is quite possible that this was the last time I nursed by third baby. She did fine during all her naps with a bottle, and I even toyed with the idea of just putting her down for bed with a bottle, too instead of nursing her.

She probably would have been fine.

But I decided to nurse her one more time, for my sake if not for anyone else's. I wanted that last minute with her, even though it's possible we pick it back up again later.

But for now, this is it. And I am a bit of a wreck.
