Friday Reflection; Christmas Edition

What a wonderful week. It’s been busy, but full of good moments. It’s been overwhelming, but full of fun and enjoyment also.

Christmas felt different this year for a variety of reasons—a big one being that I need to start nesting and there’s so much I couldn’t do with Christmas still set up.

But before I rush ahead, some wonderful Christmas moments:

• Twylla sang in the kids choir at church on Christmas Eve and did phenomenally

• Shawn made it to the second service to see her preform which is really great for her

• We had a lovely Christmas Eve at home together, and didn’t have to do the Santa stuff since the girls know what’s up

• Christmas Day was beautiful and peaceful and relaxing

• The kids loved their gifts

• The baby napped wonderfully

• We stayed in our PJs all day

• Dinner was already prepped the day before which means I actually got some relaxation

Christmas week has been great. It’s worth noting on here, if only to remember.

Now, we move on to nesting and getting things ready for the baby.
